pkzip/pkunzip question

I do not have experience in using the "zip" utilities.  I downloaded the
EmTec Newsreader to a temp folder and it came in the zip format.  What is
the command line(s) that I have to type in to unzip and then to install the
program.  I found the PKUNZIP2.EXE in my OS/2 folder, but I do not know how
to use it.  Any help would be appreciated.  The file does not seem to have a
self-extracting feature.

Abandon PKUNZIP2 – it won’t handle the zip file format. Get
    ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/archiver

    unzip532.exe     448078 Nov 18 14:11

and then run that to expand it and type

    unzip c:\temp\ens46e.zip -d c:\tmpinst

will place all the files into a directory called c:\tmpinst. Switch to
    that directory and type

    INSTALL

    Try "pkzip2.exe /extract -d <filename>"

If when you run "pkzip2" it informs you that it is 2.50 the solution below
will work. If it show an earlier version then the executable will not unpack
zip files – for that you will need pkunzip2, InfoZips unzip or go to PKWare’s
web page and get the neest OS/e version – 2.50 – which supports both zipping
and unzipping from the one executable.
    pkunzip2: "pkunzip2 -d filename.zip"
    unzip:    "unzip filename.zip"
    pkzip(2.50) "pkzip /extract /directories filename.zip"
