Problems using Selective Install

Hi!

    I open the Selective Install Window, and after a few minutes of disk
activity the system hangs. Hardware reset is the only recover procedure.

Any idea?

Many thanks in advance
Enrique

    You don’t say which version of Warp? If this is Warp 3 and you have an
    NE2000 or compatible network card installed and it is set to use port
    address 300h then try setting it to 340h instead. You could also try
    adding

    basedev=reserve.sys /io:300

    to the top of your CONFIG.SYS and see if that helps.

    Just thought I’d add this. I have a similar problem under Warp 4/FP5.
    Tje difference being that Install.exe causes an exception error, and
    hangs. I can recover though by minimizing and ctrl-esc to the window
    list and selecting close for Selective Install. I do not have a network
    car though.
