WARP4 install problem on Notebook

Hi

My problem is:

I have a notebook ( Compaq armada V300 ) where WIN98 is on a 2.2 GB
partition ( type 0C ).
I want to install warp4 on a 1 MB partition.
But when I come to the FDISK part where I will chose/create the
partition I get a message:

"Partition on drive 1 is proberbly corruptet"

And I can not do anything than delete a partition, all other function
are disablet.
When I try the same with a WARP4.5 ( WseB ) it works fine.

I have tried:

To use DANIS506.ADD instead of IBM1S506.ADD

Got the newest IDEDASD.EXE from IBM

To use the parameter /GEO: on the driver IBM1S506.ADD

To make the bootmanager and the 1GB partition with the WARP 4.5 LVM prg,
it can be done but I can not install with WARP4.

The disk is translatet as :

556 cyl, 240 heads, 63 sectors

Any idea ?

Knud

    Hi

The problem and solution was that I had shrinked the win98 part from 4,3 GB
to 2,2 GB and let the part end across cylinder bondaries eg 291/2/17 changed
that to 291/239/63 with partition manager and the warp 4 install worked.
